“Sisterhood. The Foundation of Solidarity and Support” – A Book That Moves, Connects, and Gives Hope

“Sisterhood” is an initiative to inspire and build a space based on mutual respect and empathy. Ilona Adamska, known for her work within the Social Campaign “No Hate – Just Motivate” and the In Harmony with Yourself Foundation, gathered 30 exceptional women for this project. Among them are entrepreneurs, leaders, educators, and media personalities – women who bravely share their stories, experiences, and at times, their pain and disappointment.

“This book was created to inspire, educate, and move people. It is an invitation to take action – to build more conscious and supportive bonds among women,” says Ilona Adamska. “I want each of us to feel that she is not alone and has the support of other women who share similar experiences and values.”

Each essay is a story in itself. The authors do not shy away from complex topics – they write about sisterhood that gave them strength, but also about moments when that female solidarity was lacking. These honest, uncompromising stories can become a mirror for readers – a reflection of their own emotions, choices, and struggles.

Among the authors is Maria Anna Furman, journalist, visionary, leader, social activist, and co-founder of the media platform Wyspa TV. She is also the author of the book “The Laws of Success in a Nutshell”, published in 2013, and the originator and co-organiser of the Stars Night Awards and many other smaller projects. Her essay, titled “Too Beautiful Not to Hurt: A Story of Sisterhood in Exile”, is one of the book's most personal and moving parts. It speaks of female solidarity beyond borders – of hope, and of how, despite adversity, it is possible to rebuild a sense of community from scratch.

This publication marks the beginning of a broader social project – a campaign to promote the value of sisterhood in practice. As Ilona Adamska emphasises:

“None of us should walk through life alone. Only together – by supporting each other and sharing our experiences – can we build a meaningful world.”

This book deserves to be read, passed on, and quoted in the most important conversations.
